To arrive at Halstad - Race Start (From Fargo)

• Follow I-29 to the Halstad Exit.
• Take ND HWY 200 into town OR Follow MN HWY 75 North out of Moorhead, MN to Halstad.

From Halstad, MN to Belmont Park (Frog Point) - Buxton, ND

• From Halstad, follow HWY 75 North to Climax.
• In Climax take MN HWY 220 toward East Grand Forks.
• Just outside of town, turn to the left onto Traill County 21. Follow the signs to Belmont Park. The turn off to enter the park is located just North of a church and is marked by a monument stating Frog Point.

From Belmont Park to East Grand Forks

• Retrace your route back to MN HWY 220, turn left and head to East Grand Forks, MN. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto CR-72 / Bygland Rd SE.
• Continue to follow Bygland Rd SE (3.3miles). This road will turn into 3rd St SE. 3rd St becomes 3rd Ave SE. Stay on this road until you get to the junction of Business Hwy 2.
• Turn left onto Business Hwy 2. At the next stoplight, turn left and head toward Cabela's. Turn left just before the ND bridge and follow the street straight into LaFave Park. Follow the signs directing to the checkpoint location
• The basement of Whitey's will be available until 1 am as a place for mushers and handlers to rest, eat, and relax.
